Licensed Aesthetician

Texas Center and RejuveMD Med Spa by Dr. Jose Barrera is hiring a Licensed Aesthetician to join our cosmetic surgery and medical spa team in San Antonio. This is a patient-facing role for someone who enjoys skincare, aesthetics, sales, patient education, and helping patients feel confident throughout their cosmetic care journey.
The ideal candidate is polished, friendly, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in both a clinical and spa environment. This position includes hands-on aesthetic services, skincare consultations and product sales, lead follow-up, cosmetic surgery coordination, and support for patient communication before and after procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide aesthetic services such as facials, medical-grade chemical peels, dermaplaning, lymphatic massage, microneedling, PRP-related services, and other treatments as trained and qualified.
- Conduct skincare consultations and educate patients on skin health, treatment options, and recommended home-care regimens.
- Recommend and sell SkinCeuticals products based on patient needs, treatment plans, and skincare goals.
- Respond to patient leads and inquiries daily in collaboration with other team members.
- Assist with cosmetic surgery consultations, post-operative cosmetic follow-ups, and non-clinical pre- and post-operative instructions.
- Coordinate cosmetic surgery quotes, next-step instructions, and administrative information for patients interested in surgery.
- Build long-term patient and client relationships through excellent service, follow-up notes, calls, emails, and text communication.
- Maintain the spa environment, manage supplies and inventory, and ensure treatment rooms and retail areas are clean, organized, and ready for patients.
- Assist with scheduling, patient retention, patient follow-up, and coordination between spa services and surgical care.
- Support promotional efforts, including CRM use, email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact, social media, and event-related outreach as needed.
What You’ll DoRequirements
- Current Licensed Aesthetician credential.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical spa, dermatology, cosmetic surgery, or equivalent professional aesthetic setting.
- Strong knowledge of skincare, skin health, treatment protocols, and retail skincare recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and guide a broad patient demographic.
- Professional, polished, affable presentation and a service-first approach.
- Ability to work well with physicians, managers, and a team of clinical and administrative staff.
- Ability to work independently on scheduling, patient follow-up, patient retention, and coordination of care.
- Willingness to complete a background check.
- Experience with or willingness to learn CRM tools, email marketing platforms, social media support, and promotional development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cosmetic surgery, plastic surgery, dermatology, or a surgical clinical setting.
- Experience with lead generation, lead conversion, patient retention, or luxury service sales.
- Experience with Mailchimp, Constant Contact, CRM systems, and social media support.
- Spanish language skills. (helpful)
Role Mix
This position is approximately two-thirds clinical patient care coordination and skincare sales, and one-third spa-based aesthetic services such as facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and micro needling.
