A fast-growing strategic communications firm is looking for a Manager, Strategic

Communications to join and help shape the reputation of some of today’s most exciting brands
\n
and business leaders.

This is not your typical PR role. You’ll join a powerhouse of creatives, journalists, strategists,
\n
authors, and communicators advising emerging brands and major firms on the stories that
\n
matter most to their businesses. From reputation and brand positioning to thought leadership
\n
and media strategy, you’ll have the freedom to run with ideas, counsel clients, and produce work
\n
that gets noticed.
\n
\n
As Manager, Strategic Communications, you will take ownership of dynamic client accounts,
\n
blending sharp media instincts with strategic storytelling to deliver tangible business impact. The ideal candidate is someone who can spot the story, craft the message, land the coverage, and drive an account forward.
\n
\n
The Role:
\n
● Own day-to-day client workstreams, driving communications programs from strategy
\n
through execution
\n
● Lead and mentor junior team members while bringing fresh ideas, sharp thinking, and an
\n
entrepreneurial spirit to the wider team
\n
● Drive media relations, crafting compelling angles and securing meaningful coverage
\n
across national, trade, broadcast, digital, and print outlets
\n
● Spot opportunities to elevate clients through awards, timely cultural moments, and
\n
creative storytelling
\n
\n
Qualifications:
\n
● 5+ years of experience across PR, strategic communications, journalism, marketing, or a
\n
related field
\n
● Exceptional writer and communicator who can turn complex ideas into stories that
\n
resonate
\n
● Strategic and creative thinker with the confidence to counsel clients, solve problems, and
\n
bring proactive ideas to the table
\n
● Sharp media instincts and strong relationships across the media and influencer
\n
landscape
\n
\n
Location: New York City
\n
\n
Salary: starting at $90,000 to $100,000, depending on experience.
\n
