Job Description
Public Relations Intern - Spring/Summer 2027
We’re on a mission to do meaningful work that makes a difference in people’s lives, and we’re always interested in meeting people who want to join us on that mission.
Biplane is a public relations firm for visionary philanthropy. We help nonprofits achieve ambitious fundraising goals by building visibility, strengthening reputation, aligning stakeholders and helping more people understand the vision behind the ask. Our work creates conditions for generosity and momentum that lasts beyond a campaign.
We’re an ambitious team, working toward a goal of being recognized nationally as the top partner for campaign communications. As we grow, we want to connect with communicators at all stages of their careers, from emerging professionals to experienced strategists and senior counselors.
Opportunity
Biplane is seeking a motivated public relations intern for the Spring 2027 and Summer 2027 semesters who will support our mission and client work.
The goal of our internship program is to provide students with the opportunity to use as many public relations and marketing communications tools as possible in a real-world setting. Nothing beats on-the-job training, and we want our interns to explore and discover the practical applications of the field they’ve been studying.
The public relations intern plays a critical role on our client account teams, executing tailored public relations and marketing communications tactics. These self-starters apply our strategic approach to research, writing, media relations and monitoring, event coordination and more, working efficiently to achieve client objectives.
