Livestream Sales Hosts — TikTok Live & Whatnot

Location: Brooklyn, NY — In person

Positions: Full-time and part-time

Shift Length: 6–8 hours

About the Position

Closeout city Live is looking for confident, engaging, sales-driven personalities to join our live-streaming team. You’ll present and sell lab-grown diamonds and fine jewelry on TikTok Live and Whatnot, interact with viewers, and help create an exciting shopping experience.

We’re looking for people who can speak clearly, think on their feet, connect with customers, and confidently turn interest into sales.

• Quick thinkers: You can respond naturally to questions, handle unexpected moments, and keep the conversation moving.

• Engaging personalities: You bring enthusiasm and maintain audience interest during both busy and quieter parts of a show.

• Tech-savvy workers: You’re comfortable using computers, smartphones, Google Sheets, and social media platforms, and can learn our streaming tools.

• Reliable team members: You arrive on time, stay organized, follow procedures, and take your responsibilities seriously.

• Coachable performers: You welcome feedback and actively work to improve your presentation and sales results.

Your Responsibilities

• Host live shopping shows and auctions on TikTok Live and Whatnot.

• Showcase diamonds and jewelry with clear, accurate product descriptions.

• Answer viewer questions, build customer relationships, and encourage participation.

• Drive sales while maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

• Follow auction procedures and accurately record the items sold.

• Help prepare products, organize the presentation area, and check the streaming setup.

• Coordinate with the team to keep shows running smoothly.

• Learn our products and apply feedback to improve your performance.

Relevant Experience

Experience in sales, jewelry, luxury retail, product demonstrations, live streaming, event hosting, broadcasting, or other customer-facing roles is strongly preferred.

Previous TikTok Live or Whatnot hosting experience is a plus. Applicants should be ready to demonstrate their communication and selling skills.

Schedule

We are hiring both full-time and part-time workers. Shifts are 6–8 hours.
