Job Description

Job Description
About the Role

LOPCO Contracting and Cheer UP Athletics are seeking a highly creative, experienced Content Producer & Videographer to spearhead the development and execution of video-driven content across two distinctly different brands.

This is not simply a videography position. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of how our brands show up digitally—from identifying content opportunities and developing concepts to filming, editing, publishing, and continuously improving content based on performance.

At the same time, professional videography and editing skills are essential to this role. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable behind the camera, inside an editing suite, and developing the creative strategy behind what gets produced.

You will work closely with leadership while having the creative freedom to bring forward new ideas, identify opportunities, and help shape the digital presence of both LOPCO Contracting and Cheer UP Athletics.

What You'll Do

· Own the development and execution of video and digital content across both LOPCO Contracting and Cheer UP Athletics.

· Develop creative concepts, scripts, storyboards, shot lists, and content ideas aligned with each brand’s audience and objectives.

· Lead the full video production process from concept through filming, editing, final delivery, and distribution.

· Capture high-quality footage in a variety of environments, including construction projects, job sites, client projects, cheer practices, events, competitions, interviews, and promotional shoots.

· Produce polished long-form and short-form content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, websites, digital advertising, and other marketing channels.

· Edit content specifically for the platform and audience rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach to distribution.

· Create compelling short-form content designed to capture attention quickly while maintaining the professionalism and identity of each brand.

· Proactively identify opportunities for new content rather than relying solely on assigned projects.

· Develop recurring content concepts, series, and storytelling opportunities that help create consistency and recognizable brand identities.

· Repurpose existing and legacy video footage into fresh, relevant content.

· Collaborate with leadership on brand messaging, storytelling, campaigns, promotions, and larger creative initiatives.

· Help establish and maintain a consistent content calendar and production pipeline.

· Stay current on evolving social platforms, video formats, audience behavior, and digital content trends while determining which opportunities are appropriate for each brand.

· Review content performance and use engagement and audience insights to continuously improve creative direction.

· Organize and maintain video footage, project files, equipment, and digital asset libraries.

· Support larger-scale productions including advertisements, promotional campaigns, testimonials, recruitment content, and brand storytelling pieces.

Who You Are

You are a content producer and visual storyteller first and foremost, with professional-level videography and editing capabilities.

You understand that successful content is more than simply producing an attractive video. You know how to create content that captures attention, tells a story, communicates a brand effectively, and connects with the intended audience.

You are someone who:

· Has professional experience producing, filming, and editing high-quality video content.

· Has a strong portfolio demonstrating videography, editing, digital content, and brand storytelling.

· Is highly proficient with professional camera equipment, lighting, audio, and video production techniques.

· Has advanced editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable professional software.

· Understands how content differs across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, websites, and advertising platforms.

· Understands the fundamentals of social media content strategy, audience engagement, and content performance.

· Can independently take an idea from concept through final execution.

· Has a strong creative eye for composition, pacing, storytelling, sound, and visual identity.

· Is comfortable working in fast-moving environments and capturing both planned and spontaneous content.

· Can balance the needs and personalities of two very different brands.

· Is proactive, highly organized, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of projects.

· Brings ideas to the table rather than waiting to be told exactly what to create.

· Can receive feedback while also confidently providing professional creative recommendations.

What Will Make You Stand Out

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

· Photography and photo editing

· Drone videography and FAA Part 107 certification

· Motion graphics or animation

· Graphic design

· Commercial or advertising production

· YouTube content development

· Social media analytics and performance reporting

· Construction, home improvement, sports, fitness, athletics, or event-based content

· Experience developing content for multiple brands simultaneously

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for someone who wants more ownership than a traditional videographer or editor position typically provides.

You will have the opportunity to help shape the content direction of two growing organizations with completely different audiences and environments—from documenting transformations and craftsmanship at LOPCO Contracting to capturing the energy, athleticism, personality, and community behind Cheer UP Athletics.

We are looking for someone who wants to build something, not simply complete assigned editing projects.

Compensation & Schedule

· Full-time position

· Compensation: $60,000/year

· Based in East Providence, Rhode Island

· Some travel throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts will be required to capture content on location.

· Occasional evening and weekend availability may be necessary for events, competitions, projects, or time-sensitive content.

To Apply

Please submit your resume along with a portfolio or reel demonstrating your videography and editing work.

We would also love to see examples of content you have developed specifically for social or digital platforms. Applicants should be prepared to discuss their role in the creative process behind the work included in their portfolio.
