Job Title: CT Scan Technologist
Location: Neptune, NJ
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 8:30 AM–7:00 PM, 4×10-Hour Shifts, 40 Hours per Week

Pay Rate
Local: $71.00–$75.00/hr
Traveler: $73.00–$76.00/hr

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Active New Jersey DEP Diagnostic Radiography License.
ARRT Registered Radiographer (R.T.(R)) certification.
Current AHA BLS certification.
Knowledge of CT procedures, anatomy, radiographic positioning, and PACS.
Outpatient CT experience required.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call assignments.
Ability to lift 25 lbs., push/pull 50 lbs., and stand for at least 6 hours daily.

Preferred Qualifications

More than 5 years of experience and at least 6 months of CT experience.
ARRT CT certification (R.T.(CT)). Certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
EPIC and HIS/RIS experience.
Trauma Level I experience.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and complex CT scans, including sectional and 3D imaging.
Review physician orders, patient history, and clinical information before procedures.
Prepare patients and explain CT procedures.
Administer prescribed contrast media and perform IV insertion and maintenance.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions during procedures.
Review images using PACS to ensure diagnostic quality.
Coordinate with radiologists and referring physicians regarding CT protocols.
Maintain accurate patient documentation in EPIC and PACS.
Assist with interventional and therapeutic procedures.
