This onsite contract opportunity covers 35 hours per week and runs through June 10, 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference for middle schoolers. Key Qualifications:

• Active teaching certification or licensure appropriate for a 7th-grade caseload
• Bachelor’s degree required (needed for emergency teaching permit)
• Demonstrated experience teaching within school settings; familiarity with urban environments strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of subject matter, instructional best practices, and relevant educational resources
• Proven ability to develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state and district standards, incorporating formative assessments and differentiated instruction
• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills essential
• Must be able to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
• Reliable transportation needed for consistent onsite attendance
• Comfortable working onsite without scheduling accommodations, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–3:15pm

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging math lessons for 7th grade
• Adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, supporting both remediation and enrichment
• Utilize effective classroom management to maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a supportive school culture
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate regularly with parents and staff
