Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Pay: $14-16 per hour + Tips
Expected Hours: 20–40 hours per week
Location: 6400 Holly Ave NE, Suite E, Albuquerque, NM 87113


JOB SUMMARY


As a Barista / Bakery Associate, you will help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every TOUS les JOURS guest. You will work as part of our Front of House team to prepare beverages, assist guests with bakery selections, operate the point-of-sale system, maintain product displays, and keep guest and service areas clean and organized.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive, and professional service.
• Prepare coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and specialty drinks according to TOUS les JOURS standards.
• Take orders and process cash, credit card, and other approved payments accurately.
• Assist guests with bakery selections and answer questions about products, beverages, and menu items.
• Package and present breads, pastries, cakes, and other products according to TOUS les JOURS standards.
• Stock and maintain bakery displays, beverage stations, service areas, and FOH supplies.
• Monitor product availability and communicate restocking needs or shortages to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain clean and organized counters, beverage stations, display areas, dining areas, and other guest-facing spaces.
• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, handwashing, and food-handling procedures.
• Operate coffee equipment, POS systems, and other FOH equipment safely and properly.
• Work efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining quality, accuracy, and guest service.
• Complete assigned opening, closing, cleaning, stocking, and side-work responsibilities.
• Work cooperatively with FOH, BOH, and leadership to support daily operations.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned based on the operational needs of the business.

Barista / Bakery Associates are expected to:

  Arrive on time and ready to work for scheduled shifts.
• Maintain friendly, professional, and respectful communication with guests and team members.
• Learn and consistently follow TOUS les JOURS recipes, procedures, and service standards.
• Work with a sense of urgency while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Keep assigned areas clean, stocked, organized, and ready for service.
• Accept coaching, apply feedback, and take responsibility for assigned duties.
• Follow company policies regarding food safety, sanitation, uniform standards, attendance, and workplace conduct.
• Work scheduled mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
