Description\n
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R) certification for an adult and pediatric acute care hospital setting.
Details\n

- Level II Trauma Center supporting adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, emergency department, and ICU patients
- Uses Toshiba CT equipment and EPIC documentation system
- 5x8 hour day shifts, Sunday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM block schedule
- On-call required as needed, approximately 1-2 call shifts of 4 hours per week
- Candidates will float within the hospital based on census
- Scheduling managed by lead CT tech and manager

Requirements\n
- \n
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required, 3 years preferred
- Current BLS and ARRT (R) certification required
- IV start and venipuncture certification preferred
- CA license required in hand at time of consideration, if applicable
- Nursys report required, pulled within 2 weeks of consideration
- One professional reference required, within 2 years
- Proficiency in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
- Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
- Experience with contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts

- Perform CT imaging across a range of studies including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal exams
- Support special procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, drainage, CTA, and coronary CT when applicable
- Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- First-time travelers accepted
- Previous permanent staff at this facility are not eligible for consideration
- Requested time off must be submitted and approved in advance, with no additions after initial submission
- Local candidates accepted at a lower rate if within 50 miles of the facility
