At Stratus, our mission goes beyond commercial cleaning. We help entrepreneurs build and grow their own businesses while providing exceptional service to our clients. Our team works closely with Unit Franchise Owners throughout their journey, from their initial introduction to the Stratus franchise opportunity through training, account growth, and ongoing business development.
We foster a collaborative, fast-paced environment where team members are encouraged to take ownership, solve problems, build strong relationships, and make a meaningful impact on our franchise owners, clients, and local community.
Job Summary
Stratus Building Solutions is seeking a bilingual English/Spanish Franchise Business Consultant to join our team. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this position.
This is a full-time, primarily in-office role that combines franchise development, office administration, customer service, and operational support. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for prospective and existing Unit Franchise Owners, clients, and our internal team while helping ensure the regional office operates efficiently and professionally.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-focused, comfortable with sales, and able to shift between administrative responsibilities, franchise owner support, client needs, and operational priorities as business needs evolve.
Responsibilities
- Conduct franchise opportunity presentations, manage prospective franchisee follow-up, and assist with the disclosure, onboarding, and closing process for new Unit Franchise Owners.
- Build trusted relationships with Unit Franchise Owners and provide ongoing business support, coaching, training, and development.
- Support new franchisee onboarding, required documentation, training completion, insurance compliance, renewals, and franchise records.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for the regional office by answering incoming calls, greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, and appropriately routing client and franchise inquiries.
- Process and maintain account-related documentation, including new accounts, transfers, cancellations, credits, franchisee supply invoices, and other operational records.
- Review franchise statements, customer payments, invoicing information, and collection concerns, collaborating with franchisees, leadership, and accounting to resolve discrepancies.
- Manage franchise supplies, uniforms, chemicals, starter kits, inventory, and general office resources.
- Support local marketing initiatives, social media, review generation, events, and other efforts to grow Stratus' presence in the community.
- Assist with client retention and operational needs, including quality inspections, customer concerns, account transfers, new account startups, first cleans, and follow-up as needed.
- Identify and sell additional service opportunities to existing clients, including special services and account increases.
- Support quarterly franchise reviews and franchise owner development by helping identify opportunities for improved service, customer relationships, employee management, and business growth.
- Maintain accurate and timely records within Stratus systems and CRM platforms.
- Collaborate closely with the Regional Director, Franchise Business Consultants, Sales, Accounting, and other team members to support the needs of the regional business.
- Stay informed on commercial cleaning industry trends, products, services, and best practices.
- Take on additional administrative and operational responsibilities as business needs require.
Schedule & Work Environment
This is a full-time, in-office or in-field position, approximately 40 hours per week. Local travel to client locations will be required for inspections, account startups, franchisee support, and other operational needs. Some evening and weekend availability may occasionally be required for account starts, transfers, training, or client needs.
Qualifications
- Fluent bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish are required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Previous experience in administration, operations, customer service, sales, account management, or franchise support preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines accurately.
- Comfortable conducting presentations, building relationships, and participating in a consultative sales process.
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to professionally navigate concerns and difficult conversations.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a team.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and CRM systems; familiarity with HubSpot, LinkedIn, and social media platforms is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel locally to client locations and work outside normal business hours when operational needs require.
