A school-based Occupational Therapist is needed for a full-time, onsite contract role working with middle school students. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students maximize their participation and success across educational settings.
This assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 10, 2027, offering a consistent, meaningful placement. The primary site is a middle school; additional site overlap may occur as needed. This is a great fit for clinicians who thrive in urban environments and value relationship-building.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license and certification in Pennsylvania
- Minimum of one year’s school-based OT experience
- Comfortable and experienced working in urban school settings
- Willingness to obtain all required Pennsylvania clearances
- Ability to provide licensure documentation upon request
- No COTA applicants—licensed OTs only
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to middle school students onsite
- Evaluate student needs and develop individualized intervention plans
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Liaise with school staff and families to maximize student outcomes
- Adapt to occasional multi-site responsibilities if needed
Position Details:
- Contract, full-time (35 hours/week)
- Hours and schedule align with the school calendar
