Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Medical Assistant Ortho Fitter for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Shreveport, LA. This role is ideal for a Medical Assistant or direct patient care professional who is ready to move beyond a traditional medical office setting and build a specialized career path in orthotics and durable medical equipment.
As a Medical Assistant Ortho Fitter, you will work directly with patients who need orthopedic braces, supports, and orthotic devices. You will help ensure proper fit, comfort, education, and follow-up support while learning from an experienced healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with patients who require orthopedic braces, supports, and other orthotic devices.
- Assist with proper fitting, adjustment, and basic modification of orthotic equipment.
- Educate patients on correct device use, care, maintenance, and comfort.
- Use basic hand tools as needed to support fittings and device adjustments.
- Maintain accurate patient information, documentation, and service records.
- Participate in a required on-call hospital rotation approximately every 4 to 5 weeks after training is completed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Temp-to-hire opportunity.
- Starting pay: $15.00+ per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

- Required on-call hospital rotation approximately every 4 to 5 weeks, including 24/7 availability during the assigned rotation.
