Two full-time contract positions are available, offering a fulfilling opportunity to guide and nurture students’ academic and social growth. You’ll collaborate with passionate educators and specialists, making a meaningful impact every day. The anticipated assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 11, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification appropriate for K-4th grade
- Previous experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children with varying abilities
- Ability to develop and implement individualized instruction and behavior plans
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with colleagues, families, and support staff
- Flexibility, compassion, and commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom community
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction tailored to students’ IEP goals
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
- Communicate regularly with families to support students’ academic and social-emotional development
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all applicable guidelines and documentation
- Cultivate a positive, supportive, and engaging classroom atmosphere
