The Revenue & Marketing Manager supports portfolio revenue performance through a combination of revenue-management reporting, ancillary-revenue optimization and targeted marketing execution. Working closely with the Corporate Director of Marketing, hotel leadership, sales teams and property teams, this position uses revenue and marketing data to identify opportunities, address need periods, support group and property-specific initiatives, and generate incremental revenue across select branded and independent hotels.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Management & Reporting

  • Send the sell-out efficiency report daily.
  • Upload weekly and monthly STR reports.
  • Generate monthly ancillary revenue reports and complete ancillary revenue reporting for each hotel.
  • Analyze historical, current and forecasted booking data to identify demand trends and revenue opportunities, with particular focus on ancillary revenues.
  • Review seasonal pricing differentials and adjust pricing strategies based on market conditions and demand patterns for rooms and ancillary revenues.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize ancillary revenue during both high- and low-demand periods.

Ancillary Revenue Optimization

  • Host monthly ancillary revenue calls for a select group of branded and independent properties.
  • Partner with hotels to develop seasonal add-ons and other incremental revenue opportunities.
  • Review and monitor front desk incentive programs with each hotel.
  • Audit upsell availability to ensure appropriate offers are available to guests.
  • Monitor the guest journey through guest messaging systems to ensure communications are timely, on brand and include effective calls to action throughout the stay.

Marketing Planning & Opportunity Identification

  • Review hotel Monthly Marketing Action Reports with the Corporate Director of Marketing and identify properties, need periods and initiatives requiring additional support.
  • Use revenue and marketing data together to identify soft periods and opportunities where targeted marketing efforts may generate incremental revenue.
  • Prioritize marketing support based on each hotel’s business needs and the potential impact of the initiative.

Marketing Execution & Coordination

  • Develop, launch and monitor Meta advertising campaigns supporting hotel promotions, need dates, packages, group business, meetings, weddings, food & beverage and other revenue opportunities.
  • Assist hotel sales teams with marketing initiatives designed to generate group, meeting, wedding and event business.
  • Support seasonal promotions, packages, special offers, local events and other property-level campaigns.
  • Assist hotels with promotional content across appropriate digital channels, including social media, hotel websites, Google Business Profiles and other brand-approved platforms.
  • Coordinate day-to-day marketing requests, project assets, deadlines and approvals with the Corporate Director of Marketing and participating hotels.
  • Monitor the performance of paid campaigns and other measurable marketing initiatives, providing results and recommendations as appropriate.
  • Ensure marketing initiatives comply with applicable brand standards and company marketing guidelines.

Role Structure

This position is designed to connect revenue insight with targeted marketing execution. Hotels remain responsible for identifying upcoming business needs and planning property-level initiatives through the monthly reporting process. The Revenue & Marketing Manager and Corporate Director of Marketing will review needs and determine where marketing resources should be deployed.

Overall marketing strategy, major campaigns, creative direction and portfolio marketing oversight remain the responsibility of the Corporate Director of Marketing. The Revenue & Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting execution, coordination, measurement and revenue-focused opportunity identification within the scope of the role.
