Bee Happy Coffee is a new family-owned drive-thru coffee shop on Pioneer Pkwy in Arlington, and we’re hiring a full-time cashier. You’ll mostly be at the window taking orders, and we’ll teach you to make drinks so you can grow into a barista role.
You’re the first person every customer talks to, so personality matters a lot here.
What you’ll do
- Greet every car, take orders, and double-check each order before it goes out the window
- Handle cash and card payments and count your drawer at the start and end of your shift
- Know the menu well enough to answer questions and suggest drinks, add-ons, and seasonal specials
- Prep breakfast tacos and sandwiches, and help make drinks as you learn
- Keep the line moving without making anyone feel rushed
- Take creative photos and short videos of drinks and the shop, and coordinate with our marketing agency on what they need for social media
- Keep napkins, straws, cups, lids, and everything else stocked
- Keep the place clean, which is mostly wiping down, sweeping, and taking out the trash (no dishes)
- Help with closing duties
What we’re looking for
- Energetic and upbeat, even at 7am
- Great customer service, friendly and patient even when it’s busy
- Dependable and on time
- Comfortable taking photos and short videos for Instagram and TikTok
- Cashier or customer service experience is a plus. No barista experience needed.
- Food handler card is a plus
Pay and schedule
- $12 to $14 an hour depending on experience. The listed pay doesn’t include tips, so you’ll make more than that.
- Shifts run Monday through Saturday, 7am to 3pm
