Emerald Resource Group is hiring an entry-level recruiter who enjoys connecting with people, asks good questions, and follows through.
\n
\n
You’ll learn how to find talented professionals, start conversations, understand their career goals, and connect them with opportunities. You’ll also learn how to build relationships with hiring managers and help companies find the people they need.
\n
\n
Recruiting takes curiosity, persistence, and the ability to earn trust. If you enjoy meeting people and working toward a goal, this could be a strong career fit.

What You’ll Do

- Make calls to introduce yourself, learn about people’s backgrounds, and explore their career interests.
- Start conversations through LinkedIn, email, and social messaging.
- Build relationships with candidates and hiring managers through thoughtful outreach and consistent follow-up.
- Find qualified professionals using LinkedIn, AI tools, job boards, referrals, and recruiting technology.
- Learn to interview candidates and recognize a good match between a person and an opportunity.
- Research companies, identify hiring contacts, and help introduce Emerald’s services.
- Write outreach messages and job posts that get people’s attention.
- Keep your conversations, contacts, and next steps organized in Loxo.
- Participate in training, coaching, and practice sessions to build your confidence.

What We’re Looking For

- A recent graduate or early-career professional ready to learn.
- Clear communication skills and a genuine interest in people.
- Willingness to pick up the phone and start conversations with people you haven’t met.
- Curiosity, initiative, and reliable follow-through.
- Comfort using social media and learning new technology.
- Someone who enjoys goals, takes feedback well, and keeps going when a conversation doesn’t lead anywhere.

Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, campus leadership, or other roles involving people is helpful.
\n
\n
Prior recruiting experience is not required.
