About the Role
At Valvetronic Designs, we don't just build exhaust systems — we create sounds and experiences worth capturing.
We're looking for a talented, creative, and motivated Automotive Videographer & Photographer to join our growing media team. This is a hands-on opportunity to work around everything from exotic supercars and high-performance sports cars to off-road vehicles, trucks, and some of the most exciting builds in the automotive industry.
This isn't your typical photography or videography position. One day you might be filming a Lamborghini screaming down our private airstrip, the next you're capturing a Jeep tearing through an off-road trail, and the following day you're behind the scenes documenting the development of a brand-new exhaust system.
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, fun, and creative environment, takes initiative, and knows how to turn exciting automotive moments into compelling content.
Key Responsibilities
Automotive Videography & Content Production
● Film high-quality automotive content showcasing Valvetronic Designs exhaust systems, vehicles, and product performance.
● Capture dynamic vehicle footage, including rolling shots, flybys, acceleration runs, exhaust sound demonstrations, and cinematic B-roll.
● Lead and assist with video shoots at our headquarters, fabrication shop, private airstrip, off-road locations, marketing events, and other filming destinations.
● Capture engaging behind-the-scenes content featuring exhaust development, fabrication, installations, vehicle testing, and daily shop activities.
● Produce content for YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, paid advertising, and other digital marketing platforms.
● Work alongside the marketing and product development teams to plan and execute video shoots for new product launches, promotional campaigns, and ongoing content initiatives.
● Understand the importance of properly capturing automotive exhaust audio, accurately showcasing the unique sound and characteristics of each system.
● Work with the Off-Road and Import brand managers to create content that properly applies to their campaigns and initiatives.
Lifestyle & Marketing Photography
● Capture professional lifestyle photography of performance vehicles, supercars, sports cars, off-road vehicles, and trucks.
● Photograph vehicles in real-world environments, including scenic locations, automotive events, on an airstrip, and off-road settings.
● Create dynamic, visually engaging imagery highlighting vehicles and Valvetronic Designs exhaust systems in action.
● Produce photography for website banners, product launches, advertisements, social media, email campaigns, and other marketing materials.
● Capture behind-the-scenes photography of our team, company culture, fabrication processes, and automotive experiences.
● Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain a consistent, premium visual identity across all content.
Creative Collaboration & Production
● Work closely with the Marketing and Product Development departments to coordinate shoots and ensure content is delivered on schedule.
● Help organize vehicles, equipment, shot lists, locations, and other requirements for successful filming days.
● Adapt quickly to changing schedules, spontaneous filming opportunities, and fast-moving product launches.
● Maintain camera equipment, organize footage and photography assets, and support an efficient production workflow.
● Contribute new creative concepts and continuously look for ways to improve the quality and impact of our content.
What We're Looking For
● Strong experience with videography and photography, preferably within the automotive industry.
● A creative eye for composition, movement, lighting, and cinematic storytelling.
● Experience filming moving vehicles and working in dynamic, outdoor environments.
● Familiarity with professional camera equipment, stabilization systems, microphones, and automotive audio recording techniques.
● Understanding content requirements for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and digital advertising.
● Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple shoots, projects, and deadlines.
● A self-motivated, adaptable individual who is comfortable taking ownership of projects while collaborating with a team.
● Genuine enthusiasm for automotive culture, performance vehicles, motorsports, and off-road adventures.
● A willingness to get involved, experiment with new ideas, and occasionally get your hands dirty to capture the perfect shot.
Bonus Qualifications
● Experience with automotive rolling shots, action cameras, gimbals, and drone photography/videography.
● Knowledge of automotive exhaust systems, modifications, and vehicle performance.
● Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, or similar production software.
● Experience creating viral or high-performing automotive social media content.
● Experience filming motorsports, off-road adventures, or high-performance vehicles.
