Join Solterra's founding massage team at The Galaxy at Polaris.
Solterra Wellness Club is an integrated wellness destination bringing movement, recovery, skin health, medical wellness, nutrition, and hospitality under one roof. We are seeking Ohio-licensed therapists who want time to listen, customize treatment, and deliver an elevated guest experience without a rushed, high-volume model.
Full-time and consistent part-time W-2 opportunities are available, with a $25-per-scheduled-hour introductory guarantee for 60 days, service commission when higher, and 100% of guest tips. No existing clientele or previous luxury-spa experience is required.
COMPENSATION
- Introductory guarantee: $25 per approved scheduled hour for the first 60 calendar days beginning with your first scheduled guest-service shift, including unbooked time during an approved shift
- 40% of eligible collected massage-service revenue personally performed
- During the introductory period, service pay is the higher of the $25 hourly guarantee for approved scheduled service hours or earned service commission for the applicable pay period; the two are not stacked
- Approximately $62-$98 per completed treatment, or approximately $44-$51 per booked service hour, based on Solterra's planned massage menu and appointment blocks
- 100% of guest gratuities, paid in addition to service compensation
- Approved training, meetings, administrative responsibilities, and assigned pre-opening or non-service work are paid separately at $25 per hour
The $25 introductory guarantee provides opening-period income protection; it does not guarantee a minimum number of weekly hours. After the introductory period, the regular 40% service-commission structure continues, with approved non-service work paid at $25 per hour. Commission estimates are not guaranteed hourly earnings or an earnings cap. Actual earnings depend on completed appointments, collected revenue, and service mix. Appointment volume and gratuities are not guaranteed.

THE ROLE
Listen closely, assess guest goals and contraindications, and deliver technically strong, customized massage within Ohio scope of practice. Solterra does not treat ordinary pressure preferences as paid upgrades. Therapists maintain accurate SOAP documentation, professional boundaries, appropriate draping, infection-control standards, and calm, guest-ready treatment rooms.
You will help create a resort-inspired experience built around thoughtful consultation, skilled touch, unhurried transitions, and genuine hospitality. You will also collaborate with Solterra's movement, recovery, and skin-health teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Ohio Massage Therapy license in good standing
- Current CPR/AED certification, or ability to obtain it before the employment start date
- Strong massage fundamentals and working knowledge of anatomy and contraindications
- Consistent professional boundaries, draping, sanitation, and documentation practices
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the role, including treatment-room setup and massage services, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Reliable, professional, and committed to continued learning
Experienced therapists and talented newer licensed therapists are welcome. Additional modalities are helpful, not required.
SCHEDULE AND START TIMING
Full-time and consistent part-time schedules are available and will be discussed individually. An initial part-time schedule can be built around two or three consistent weekly shifts agreed before starting, allowing you to retain other work. Evening and weekend availability is especially valuable.
We are hiring our founding team now. Paid training and start dates will be confirmed individually. The regular guest schedule will begin with the club's service launch, subject to site readiness, occupancy approval, and required inspections.
