We are looking for a reliable, professional, and motivated Salon Assistant to join our team!
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the beauty industry, is comfortable in a fast-paced salon environment, and has experience braiding hair.
Your primary responsibilities will include shampooing, blow-drying, and completing braid-downs to prepare clients for sew-in installations.
Responsibilities
- Shampoo and condition clients’ hair
- Blow-dry and properly prep hair for installations
- Perform neat, secure, and efficient braid-downs for sew-ins
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Assist with keeping appointments running smoothly
- Provide a welcoming and professional client experience
Requirements
- Must know how to braid down hair for sew-ins
- Experience shampooing and blow-drying different hair textures
- Reliable transportation
- Professional, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team environment
A cosmetology license is not required.
