About Saddlers Row
Saddlers Row is a boutique equestrian retailer dedicated to providing quality products and exceptional service to riders, horse owners, and equestrian enthusiasts. We are looking for a passionate, customer-focused Sales Floor Manager who loves all things equestrian and enjoys working with a team.
About the Role
The Sales Floor Manager will help lead our sales team, support daily store operations, and ensure every customer receives knowledgeable, personalized service. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of tack, apparel, and horse and rider needs, along with previous retail sales or leadership experience.
We’re looking for someone who leads by example, enjoys helping customers, and understands the importance of teamwork in a busy retail environment.
Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Lead by example on the sales floor while providing excellent customer service.
- Assist customers with selecting tack, apparel, and equestrian products that meet their needs.
- Build customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Support sales goals and help the team deliver a consistent, welcoming shopping experience.
Team Leadership
- Support, guide, and motivate sales team members.
- Help coordinate daily sales floor priorities and team responsibilities.
- Communicate new products, promotions, and store updates to the team.
- Foster a positive, collaborative environment where teamwork is essential.
Store Operations
- Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Support merchandising, product displays, and seasonal floor transitions.
- Assist with inventory organization, receiving, and product replenishment.
- Help address customer questions and concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Strong equestrian knowledge, including tack, apparel, and horse and rider needs.
- Previous retail leadership, sales leadership, or floor management experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong sales and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory processes preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Positive, dependable, and proactive, with the ability to take initiative.
- A team-oriented approach and a genuine passion for the equestrian industry.
Schedule
- Availability to work at least one weekend day is required.
- Must be comfortable working directly with customers and supporting the sales team during busy periods.
